Internationally acclaimed pianist, Llŷr Williams, is without doubt one of the foremost pianists of his generation, and it is a great joy to welcome him back to perform for us in Conwy once again this year. His programme will include Debussy’s Children’s Corner, Mendelssohn’s Three Fantasies or Cappricios, Opus 16 (written while he was staying outside Mold), Liszt’s Schlummerlied from Weinachtsbaum Suite, a selection from Prokovfiev’s ‘Musique d’enfants’, Tchaikovsky’s December from the Seasons, Bellini/Liszt’s Reminiscences de Norma and Wagner/Liszt’s Spinnerlied, Abendstern and Liebestod.

Heb flewyn ar dafod, mae’n un o bianyddion mwyaf blaengar ei genhedlaeth; pleser o’r mwyaf yw cael ei groesawu’n ôl i berfformio inni yng Nghonwy eto eleni. There are no set admission charges to festival concerts. Audiences are invited to contribute to a collection at the end of each performance towards the very considerable costs involved in running the festival.
