Conwy Classical Music Festival 2017
Venue:
St. Mary's Church is situated at the centre of the walled town of Conwy.
It was founded as a Cistercian monastery in 1186 and for a hundred years was the burial place of the Princes of Gwynedd. Since 1283, when Edward I began work on Conwy Castle, it has been the Parish Church. It contains many features of interest including a Tudor font and a magnificent rood screen of c.1500.The other Festival venues, The Royal Cambrian Academy and St. Mary’s Church Hall, are within a few minutes walk of the Church. Signposted parking is available at various points in the vicinity, and the town is also served by a good local bus service and a railway station on the Chester to Holyhead line. We extend a warm invitation to you to join us at the Festival and experience the delights of wonderful music performed in beautiful surroundings.

St.Mary's Church has disabled access, via the west doors and is fitted with a hearing loop. Toilet facilities will be available at the Church Hall during the interval at evening concerts.
